Characteristics edit edit source Considered a bladed, knife-type weapon (ouch), the Invader (or alien probe) is a unique skin for the combat knife. Developed in early 2077 after the Anchorage Reclamation, the T-60 series of power armor was designed to eventually replace the T-51 power armor as the pinnacle of powered armor technology in the U.S. Military arsenal. After seeing the Halo armor on the 405ths site I think this is a cost effective (although time consuming) method for me to build. Starting to consider using Jan Rukr's paper M41A and beefing it up for my first PR. Any other Aliens pep files would be great too.

Found a site that has a face hugger in one of the speciman holders that looked super cool. Any help would be appreciated. I have seen a few models there that would be of interest to the group if I could ever figure out how to unfold them properly.

Author: Nemesis Sat Feb 13, 2010 3:41 pm Post subject: Re: Pepakura files request Great place but no luck at the warehouse on the armor, had the smartgun and sentry gun though. Does anyone have any 3d files from the games, maybe you did a skin mod to the armor? I have another 3d editing program that I can open those files in and 'save as' option. Ive found some of the weapons in Poser file form that I can open with it, but not the armor. Any help would be great.

I'm in process of assembling a combat shotgun (Fallout 3) from pepakura and would be quite interested in Aliens related model files. Please keep us/me posted! So far theyve gotten the chest and back plates for the armor, and the M41A. I dont think the rifle has been unfolded, but the armor segments have. Author: Nemesis Sat Feb 20, 2010 5:10 am Post subject: Re: Pepakura files request I have found all the armor in Pepakura files.

A big thank you to Hirgon at the 405th. He just finished posting tonight. If anyones interested here is his link for all of the armor in RAR (zipped) form: Awesome stuff. Great work there, Nobody! Anyone know if there are pep files for the MK1 Iron Man armour? I'm not sure if there if there are MK1 flles yet, the best thing to do is ask over at the 405th. I believe i saw them over on the IM specific board. I cant remember the name of the forum specifically. Something like 'sector 16' 'section 16'.

Author: Boltrig Thu Mar 11, 2010 6:36 pm Post subject: Re: Pepakura files request (Pepakura files found!!!). How would one go about opening a pdo file?

You need to download Pepakura Designer or viewer Author: JediFraz Fri Mar 12, 2010 2:34 pm Post subject: Re: Pepakura files request (Pepakura files found!!!) Basic tutorial on using Pepakura. Author: Nemesis Sun Mar 14, 2010 5:05 am Post subject: Re: Pepakura files request (Pepakura files found!!!) Just a note on Pepakura Designer, if you want to export files (change to bitmap) you have to buy the keycode. But the Pep Viewer will print if you have a printer. I am about 1500 miles from home and no printer available were I am staying so I dished the $$ for the password so I can convert the files so I can take the files to a local print shop.

As I have read on the 405ths forums if you want to build armor your going to have to spend some $$$,lol. I wouldnt have this problem if I was at home. Im also going to try to use the files as patterns on craft/hobby foam, a technique I found on armor building site for LOTR elf armor.so may not have to use the fiberglass and resin which should save me alot of cash They used craft foam, elmers glue and something like cheesecloth for backing/reinforcing. I did some tests with the foam and I think this will work. Also some cool aging techniques.

Its actually kinda relaxing cutting the pieces out, I just popped in a movie and went to town, though I only made it through about 5 pieces so far. Author: Nobody Sun Mar 14, 2010 10:44 pm Post subject: Re: Pepakura files request (Pepakura files found!!!) Just to let everyone know, I'm planing on adding details and reshaping all of the pieces to make them more SA. Just in case you want to wait or make these for practice.

Might want to upsize it if you plan on using it as a mask, as it's fairly small on my face. I'd say this is probably 1:2 to 3:4 scale to the real thing, maybe. Msg me if you have any questions about it.

Enjoy!:).
